At medSTUDY Europe we want to ensure your suitability to study abroad in a European University. We will ensure you have the correct results, finances and immigration status to travel abroad. Generally UK National students are not required to have a VISA, however when you are abroad you will have to abide with the Laws of the country, and become legalised, all which we will do for you.
Registration with medSTUDY Europe
We carry out an application process for compliance and to capture the required information that is necessary for a University Application at the desired Medical University in Europe.
There will be contracts and legal documents which will allow us to represent you and place you at a Medical University.
Once we have carried out our initial checks, we will open a Medical University Application File, begin to produce your portfolio and begin to liaise with our partners across the Universities and in the relevant cities. From the start of this application we will take a small deposit to cover our costs so you or your child is able to travel abroad. The fee structure is transparent and will all be discussed once we are all happy with the level of service being provided.
First Stage of Application
You need to provide the following documents for the initial process:
A medical certificate from your own GP that is within one month of travelling abroad to the university of choice, as the Medical Certificate will expire after a month.
Transcripts for your results.
A Level Certificates from the official examination awarding bodies.
A letter from your school in which they give permission and deem you fit to travel abroad to study at a University.
We will carry out the legal and compliance procedures that are required in the UK, and via safe and secure courier we will send the Medical University Application File to our colleagues and partners abroad.
Second stage
We will provide all the relevant dates which will be applicable to your application. For instance depending on the University there may be an English test, or a Biology/Chemistry test that is required to be passed to enable a successful registration.
A travel date will be provided which will be applicable to students allocated in a particular travel group. The student will be received by a medSTUDY representative at the desired city of study.
The medSTUDY representative will deal with issues such as accommodation, completion of the application process and attaining a student card, legalisation and permission to remain in the chosen country of study.
The student will also be received by a University Representative (Rep) who will enable the student with facilities such as a mobile phone, broadband in the apartment, day to day shopping, religious requirements, safety & security, educational and study material needs and finally, tourism.
Third stage:
medSTUDY will complete the student portfolio, and settle the application process. The families or sponsors of the medical student will be provided with a full disclosure of the students position in the chosen country of study.
Students and families will have a communication channel with medSTUDY University Reps and our UK offices for any eventuality.
